East Cliff Pier, Whitby
The iconic East Cliff Pier extension at Whitby reopened in November 2021 after being damaged in storms in 2001. A new steel bridge was lifted in to place and now once again links the stone pier to the extension, so that the public can enjoy a walk along the wooden planks to the end.
